Dr. Alaina King graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management with a degree in accounting and started her career at Arthur Andersen, LLP, where she earned her CPA in audit services. She also completed masters and doctorate degrees in counseling psychology and holds certifications in organizational development, leadership, and group facilitation. She co-founded King Family Eye Care, LLC, which initially opened in Old Saybrook, CT in 2004 and later expanded in 2006 to our Rocky Hill, CT location.
In her free time she enjoys volunteering on various non-profit boards, hiking, yoga, walking her golden-doodle, and traveling.
Joining the King Family Eye Care team in March of 2022, Shannon Falcigno brings over 15 years of management experience and over 23 years of experience in the medical field. She is a licensed CNA/PCT, a certification she received from the Middlesex Community College in 2012.
In her free time, Shannon likes playing board games and doing anything that involves family time.
Jared has been in eye care since 2017 and loves helping people see the best they can. In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts, producing music on his computer, and relaxing at home with his two cats.
Joyce completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh.
Outside the office, she enjoys hiking with her family and dog, reading, and relaxing at the beach.
Melissa has been working in the eye care field since 2013 and became a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant in 2017. She has always had an interest in the eye care field and loves learning new things.
In her free time, she loves to do anything Disney-related and to spend time with her husband and three daughters.
Cheyfra has been in the healthcare field since 2015 as a certified nurse technician, a patient access representative, and an emergency room secretary for a trauma-level facility. She loves working with people and lending a helping hand.
In her free time, she loves to go on adventures with her son, daughter, and spouse.
Corine earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Human Development and a postgraduate diploma in Social Work from the University of the West Indies. She also received a diploma as a health claims specialist from Branford Hall and an associate degree in health information technology from American College. She is also a Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS).
She loves listening to people and enjoys track and field. To relax, she enjoys listening to music and going to the movies.
